Using either a BBQ, a gas stove or a grill pan, grill tomatoes, jalapeno and red pepper for about 5 minutes, until lightly charred.

  • 2 pounds Houweling's Tomatoes on the Vine
  • 1 whole Houweling's Long English Cucumber, peeled
  • 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 cup cilantro
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1 medium garlic clove
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 lime
  • 2 teaspoons sherry vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup green onion
  • 4 thin slices of smoky bacon
  • 2 tablespoons pine nuts
