  • 2 slices extra thick slices of bacon, about 1/2-3/4 inches thick
  • 1 package Houweling’s Grape tomatoes
  • 1 handful baby lettuce leaves

  1. For this recipe we will need some extra thick slices of bacon, you can always ask your butcher for this.
  2. Place a pan over a medium heat. Cut your bacon into cubes, rinse under cold water and then add to the pan. Turn your bacon every few minutes until it is brown and crispy all over. This should take about 10 minutes, once the bacon is cooked, place it on paper towel to soak up some of the fat. Allow the bacon to cool.
  3. To assemble, simply stack one piece of bacon, with one tomato and a leaf of lettuce and pierce with a skewer. These make a simple and delicious snack for parties and BBQs.
