I can’t believe the Holiday Season is upon us. That means, this blog has been up for just over a year and I’m still surprised when I hear from people who read them. But it does make me pleased.
2013 will mark another exciting year for Houweling’s Tomatoes and I am looking forward to it. Here at Houweling’s we are going to continue to focus on bringing the best tomatoes to you. It starts when our Propagation Manager (my nephew Ruben) and his team sow the seeds, graft the plants and ultimately prepare them to be planted in our greenhouses. From there our incredible growing and crop teams care for the vines and harvest tomatoes we are proud to call Houweling’s.
In case you need some inspiration, we have put together Houweling’s Signature 2013 Recipes. Full disclosure, I am not known for my culinary prowess and so we hired a very talented culinary professional to create our 2013 collection. I hope you get a chance to try some of these recipes and let us know what you think, or any variations you may have made.
